Bernard was our very first foster, and the one who started it all. We decided to take a chance on him, a sweet one-year-old pup who had spent nearly his entire life in the shelter, patiently waiting for someone to choose him. From the moment he came home with us, his gentle spirit and lovable personality shone through. Though he was only with us for a few short weeks, Bernard quickly stole our hearts and the heart of a family member, who couldn’t resist his charm and decided to adopt him! Now, he’s living his best life in a loving home, and the best part? We still get to see him whenever we like. Fostering Bernard was just the beginning, but he’ll always have a special place in our story.
