Some pups are just born lucky and Butternut was one of them. His mom, pregnant and alone, was rescued just in time. Thanks to that incredible timing, Butternut was born safe, warm, and surrounded by care. We met him at four months old. From the moment he joined us, he was a whirlwind of energy, joy, and pure love. A little goofball with a big heart. Butternut was actually our first foster pup to come camping with us an experience we’ll never forget. Something just clicked. He wasn’t just a foster anymore. He was family. We knew we couldn’t let him go. Now known as Duke, he’s still right here with us, our forever pup. He’s grown into the perfect addition to our little family, and every day he fills our lives with laughter, love, and that same boundless joy he had from the very beginning.
